With twinkling lights overhead and the city skyline all around, the Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink at Dilworth Park is where Philadelphia’s holiday season comes alive.

Dilworth Park, 1 S. 15th Street (west side of City Hall)
Hours:
Mondays-Thursdays 12 -9 p.m.
Fridays 12-11 p.m.
Saturdays 11:30 a.m.-11 p.m.
Sundays 11:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
Choose a skating session
Advance tickets are strongly recommended; a limited number are available on-site. Skate sessions last 90 minutes, followed by a 30-minute break before the next session begins. Guests who bring their own skates pay admission only. Tickets will be available soon.
General skating
Age 10 & under: $7
Age 11 & older: $10
Skate rental: $10
Skate sizes range from kids’ size 9 to men’s size 14.
Group rate
$15 per person for 10 or more guests
Includes admission and skate rental.

Lockers: $8
Locker reservations will be available once you have chosen a skating session and proceeded to checkout.
Penguin skating aids: $10 per hour
Based on availability, for children 10 and under.
Special admission discounts:
- Temple University staff and students receive $1 off admission when they present their Temple University ID.
- All college students with a valid student ID pay just $3 for admission.
Skate rental not included. Discounts cannot be used in conjunction with other offers.

Can I book a private rental at the ice rink?
The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is a great place to get your friends, family and/or coworkers together for a fun, active gathering. The rink is available for all sized groups. For more information on hours, availability, capacity and pricing, please fill out the park rental Information request form or email rentals@centercityphila.org.
Is the ice rink accessible?
The Rothman Orthopaedics Ice Rink is accessible for everyone again this season with Sled Skating. Children and adults with physical/developmental disabilities can reserve a sled for skating beginning on January 4 through February 21, 2027. Admission and use of sled will be free for the individual utilizing the sled. In addition, one adult accompanying the sled user will also receive free admission and skate rental. Any additional guests will be required to pay the regular admission and skate rental fees. Reservations are required. To reserve a sled, email info@skaterothman.com .
What are the locker rules?
Rent a Locker: Shoes will not be stored by rink staff when renting skates. We encourage you to rent a locker to secure your shoes and personal belongings. CCD and Rink Management are not responsible for lost or stolen items that were not properly secured.
What is the protocol during a ice skating session?
Check In: Signage will direct guests through the check-in process and skate rental.
Arrive Early: Queue line will be open 15 minutes prior to your designated skating session. Please arrive early to ensure time for check in and allow for maximum time on the rink.
Leave Promptly: When your skating session ends, please leave the rink area within 15 minutes, to allow for cleaning and preparation for the next session.

Late Arrivals: If you arrive late, you will be able to skate, however your session will not be extended and will end as scheduled.
